Teaching staff decide the most effective order in which subjects and topics are taught. The curriculum is reviewed at the end of each academic year, or upon notification of changes by the Department for Education, Training and Skills.
Learning in Year 2 follows the Primary Curriculum, Key Stage 1
In Key Stage 1, phonics learning follows the Essential Letters and Sounds (ELS) programme and reading is supported by use of books from Oxford Owl and Big Cat.
