FOKS – Friends of Knebworth School Association

FOKS (Friends of Knebworth School Association, a registered charity) was formed many years ago to raise funds for the benefit of the pupils at Knebworth Nursery and Primary School. FOKS plays a very important role bringing together parents, teachers and other members of the local community to raise money, and raise awareness of the needs at the school.

FOKS also provides fun social events for the children and their families, as well as regular services which include the school uniform shop and refreshments at school events. FOKS works in partnership with the school meeting the pupils’ educational needs, and working on many environmental projects including recycling, book sales, art projects and outdoor classroom projects.

FOKS has a committee of parents that provides a steering group to organise the calendar of events and activities: but everyone can join in and work together towards a common goal and we welcome all parents, grandparents, friends and teachers to get involved. Even if you only have a small amount of time available, it really can make a difference.
